the best diet for weight loss is...

It's definitely keto isn't it? Everyone's doing keto, so it MUST be keto. NO. It is not keto!

There is no best diet.

The best diet is one that you enjoy and can do for the rest of your life. AND makes you feel good. The word “diet” originated from the Greek word diaita, which means a way of living. Your diet is your way of living.

But what about keto?? Yes, keto is super trendy right now. It seems like everyone’s on keto. But so was Atkins. And so was Whole 30. Remember the bean diet? Everyone was eating beans and farting up a storm back in the day thanks to the Slow Carb diet. These diets are trendy because of sneaky marketing. Get over it.

So what is the best diet, for real? Here’s a quick checklist:
  1. You’re losing fat
  2. You feel freaken fantastic
  3. You have no cravings
  4. You don’t binge and “cheat” on your diet
  5. You’re still living your life
  6. You can eat like this forever

If you can answer “yes” to these questions, congratulations you’ve found your best diet! BUT, if your diet is making you feel miserable: cravings, no social life, cooking two separate meals for you and your family, you’re white-knuckling it everyday, then ya, it’s not gonna work.

I'm here to tell you there is no short cut. Permanent fat loss occurs when you are in a caloric deficit. This means you're eating less calories than your body needs to maintain its current body weight. A caloric deficit can be created by eating less or moving more. And guess what? You gotta do this over and over again until you reach your goal weight.

The fitness industry is riddled with so many myths and contradicting information. It thrives on your confusion. It makes a lot of money off your confusion. Over 80 billion U.S. dollars per year! You are hilarious and you tell it how it is. I just came across you today as I am home quarantining and have lots of spare time. With this new time I am learning animal flow mobility and came across your videos on YouTube. I love your beginner videos and how you break down each pose slowly.
